Partnerships and Workforce Development
At Apogee Worx, LLC, we believe that sustained success in the Aerospace and Defense sector hinges on the strength of our partnerships and the resilience of our workforce. Our long-standing collaboration with Utah’s Custom Fit Training Program has been key to advancing both. Through Custom Fit, we’ve provided specialized training in mission-critical areas such as SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, fiber optic termination and repair, soldering, and forklift operation. This targeted approach ensures that our workforce is upskilled efficiently, preparing technicians to perform at their best from day one of contract award.
Northern Utah’s unique infrastructure further enhances our competitive edge. The region offers millions of square feet of available manufacturing and warehouse space, much of which can be secured under expedited lease agreements—typically within 6 to 8 weeks, based on customer demand. With strong ties to commercial real estate partners and the strategic backing of 47G, a state initiative supporting Utah’s aerospace and defense sectors, Apogee Worx, LLC is primed to scale facilities and operations quickly to meet evolving defense needs.
Our commitment extends beyond training and facilities. We are deeply invested in creating a workforce pipeline that reflects our dedication to national security and our responsibility to the local community. Through our partnership with Utah’s Department of Workforce Services (DWS), we support internship programs for underserved youth aged 16–24 who meet defined economic and social criteria. These internships provide pathways into meaningful careers in manufacturing and aerospace, while helping bridge socioeconomic disparities by promoting technical workforce inclusion.
The Utah DWS has developed a nationally recognized Aerospace Technician apprenticeship program, which Apogee Worx, LLC proudly leverages as part of our long-term workforce strategy. This program enhances technical proficiency through hands-on training and fosters career retention and growth for early-career employees.
In addition, we engage with local high schools through a partnership with YouScience, a leading career discovery platform. By identifying students with the interest and aptitude for Aerospace and Defense careers, we proactively recruit promising talent and offer mentorship and skill-building opportunities to align with future industry needs.
Together, these interconnected partnerships in workforce development, facility scalability, and community engagement form the foundation of Apogee Worx, LLC competitive edge. We don’t just prepare for tomorrow’s missions; we invest in the people, infrastructure, and systems that will drive them forward.

“I had the privilege of visiting with Apogee Worx earlier this year to spend a few hours with Brian and the team to discuss the many ways they’re leaning into workforce development. The team is making important strides to impact the industrial base workforce in Utah which aligns well to what I’m focused on nationally with the Candy Bomber foundation. Together we’re bringing up the next generation of team members to support our men and women in uniform.”
